Higher Education Partnerships (HEP) strengthens the capacity of the higher education sector in PNG to produce quality in-demand graduates.
HEP supports PNG and Australia institution-to-institution partnerships and inclusive collaborations, forges people-to-people links, and strengthens policy and management systems at select accredited training institutions in PNG.
HEP also supports a range of stakeholders including the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology, and academics, researchers, and professional staff at institutions.

Do you work at a Papua New Guinean university and want to boost your collaborations with Australian institutions?
Apply now to secure up to PKG200,000 for a PNG university and up to AUD200,000 for an Australian university to participate in any of the following collaborative activities:
- learning and teaching
- research and innovation
- student welfare and experience
- leadership and mentoring.
