Australia Awards PNG is committed to inclusive education and equal access to opportunity for all Papua New Guineans. Scholarships are available for Grade 12 school leavers and non-school leavers with disability to pursue bachelor’s degrees at accredited PNG institutions. These scholarships empower individuals with disability to gain qualifications, build confidence, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Australia Awards will support reasonable adjustments for applicants and scholars with disabilities.
How to apply
Applicants must first apply through the DHERST National Online Application System (NOAS): https://apply.dherst.gov.pg. Once the applicant has been offered a place for a degree program, the applicant must contact Australia Awards PNG through email: incountry@australiaawardspng.org.
NOAS applications open on 15 August and close on 10 October 2025.
