Rachel Koralyo is a biologist-turned-educator at Wapenamanda Four Square Secondary School in Enga Province.

In 2022, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Secondary Teaching – Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) at the University of Goroka through an Australia Awards In-PNG scholarship.

Rachel, now a qualified biology teacher, is encouraging young minds to explore the endless possibilities of STEM through environmental conservation.

“My lessons are about shaping behaviours and attitudes towards environmental stewardship. I want to instill in my students a respect for nature and to recognise that they play an important role in its preservation,” Rachel said.
