Twenty-three Area Medical Stores employees are taking a new course in the Australia Awards Fellowships program designed to help increase capacity to receive, package, dispatch and replenish pharmaceutical products across Papua New Guinea.
The course will help the employees to assess and monitor optimum stock levels, and to understand good storage practices and basic quality assurance practices in warehousing.
The course is delivered by the Box Hill Institute and comprises of one-week delivery in Port Moresby followed by three weeks delivery in Australia. This week provided foundation knowledge to the group including site visits to the Badili Area Medical Store.
