Papua New Guineans from the public and private sector, non-government organisations, and business owners are invited to apply for one of three (3) available Fellowships that provide opportunities to participate in short-courses offered in Australia.
The courses available for study at Australian institutions are; Certificate IV in Agribusiness, Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship, or Diploma in Leadership and Management. The Fellowships include travel, accommodation, course fees and allowances for whilst scholarship recipients are in Australia.
Papua New Guineans interested in applying are strongly encouraged to plan and prepare well prior to submitting an application as it a highly competitive process. Women and people with a disability are strongly encouraged to apply. A limited number of spaces will be available to individuals employed by the Government of PNG and these applications will be facilitated by the Department of Personnel Management.
The Fellowships demonstrate the Australian Government’s commitment in supporting the PNG Government’s continued investment in education and building the capacity of Papua New Guineans as change makers.
